Loc is 41 years old with three children who are grown. She is managing a shop that serves fast food like beef noodles for breakfast and lunch. Her business started three years ago. Participating in our credit program in 2010, she used loans to buy more equipment. For her new loan, she wants to have a loan of 8,736,000 VND to buy fresh food and some kitchen tools.
The Center of Small Enterprise Development Assistance (SEDA) is a non-profit organization whose vision is to create “a society without poverty.” Founded in 2004, SEDA provides microfinance services to low-income and disadvantaged people in rural areas of Hanoi and the northern provinces of Vietnam through its Binh Minh Micro-Finance Program.
