Omar is from the village of Didi Jikhaishi. He is 66 years old, married and lives with his family: his wife Ketevan, his 38-years-ld son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren (4 and 2 years old). All adult family members are involved in their agricultural business. They have a dairy farm with eight milk cows. Ketevan produces cheese and sells it locally. Also the family owns three hectares of land, where maize and grape vines are grown. Harvested products are sold locally. Total average monthly income of the family is 900 Laris, including the pensions of Omar and Ketevan.
Omar requested credit for renting a tractor, which will till the plot. After properly done seasonal work, Omar will get a good harvest, which will be sold for an appropriate price. The family will get good income and they will be able to improve their living conditions.
