Soeurn, 51, is married and resides with her husband and three children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been involved in the agricultural business for over twenty years. They have extensive experience and are successful in their career. They are involved in growing rice and fattening up cattle.
Two of her children are employed at the garment factory. Due to the difficulty in traveling to work, Soeurn is requesting a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase a motorbike for her children to commute to work. By doing so, her children would save some money on their transportation expenses to support the family.
In the future, Soeurn would like to run a grocery store at home to generate more income for the family and to send her youngest child to a good school.
