The Sopey Mame Diarra solidarity group has been created on December 21, 2009. It is composed of 14 women living in the same village. Their business activities are mostly vending and raising livestock. Mame Saye, standing on the right in the photo, is the group’s leader. She is 55 years old, married and the mother of nine. She also has one nephew and one niece in her care.

With her loan, she is going to buy sheep for fattening and then reselling five months later at the local markets in her town.
Her revenues will allow her to help her husband support the family.

Ce groupe de solidarité Sopey Mame Diarra a été créé le 21-12-2009. Il est composé de 14 femmes issues de la même localité. Elles s'exercent pour la plupart dans le commerce et l'embouche.
Mame Saye debout à droite de la photo est la responsable du groupe. Elle est âgée de 55 ans, elle est mariée et mère de 09 enfants et à en charge 1 neveu et 1 nièce.
Avec son prêt reçu, elle va acheter des brebis qu'elle va engraisser et au bout de 5 mois les revendre dans les marchés hebdomadaires de la localité.
Ses recettes lui permettront d'aider son mari dans prise en charge des besoins de la famille.
