A loan of $1,500 helped a member to buy fabric, thread, elastic, etc.

Maria Auxiliadora Group's story

The María Auxiliadora communal bank was formed through the relationship of 12 neighbors in the city of Mariano. All the members of the bank work independently, but they also have group activities that strengthen their companionship. The members formed a very close group that is known all over the neighborhood for this relationship.

Claudia is one of the members of the bank. She is married and they have one child. She works making tablecloths, sheets, pillowcases, etc. She is a very creative woman who very much wants to get ahead. This is why she always makes the effort to be able to get ahead. She comments that her job lets her be able to support her husband and in this way bear the household together and give a lifestyle of dignity to their child.

She is requesting the loan to buy fabric, thread, elastic, and other supplies with which she will be able to continue working and filling her customers' orders.
