Hadiyya usually raises and fattens the chickens for a month and then resells them for more profitable prices in the livestock bazaar and to neighbors. Her monthly income is 320 AZN and this business is the only source of financial income for her family.
Chicken and turkey meat is very popular and people use it in everyday cuisine. In autumn and winter, turkey is the most popular meat and meals like kababs and turkey soup exist in everyday meals.
Hadiyya wants to expand her business and improve the living conditions for her family. She applied for 1000 AZN in loan to purchase poultry, seeds and fertilizers.
