Amiran is 55 years old. He lives in a small village in Akhmeta district, East Georgia. Amiran is married and lives with his wife Nina. Amiran works as a taxi driver in his district. Nina is a housewife. The total average monthly income for the family is 700 Laris.

A couple of years ago the family used to run a small dairy farm. But they sold their cows in order to get cash to purchase a taxi, which is the main source of income for them now. Amiran has requested credit to restart his family farm business. He will purchase calves and raise them. The grown calves will be sold in summer/fall and the family will get additional income. Amiran plans to invest part of the loan in the farm business and spend some to purchase additional household goods to improve his family's living conditions.
