Mikhail was born in 1963 in Baku, Azerbaijan. After secondary school he finished a barber's course. In 1988, he and his family moved to Kapan, Armenia, as refugees. Mikhail, his wife and children have already become Armenian citizens.

Mikhail’s wife is a housewife, his daughter is married and lives separately, and his son helps Mikhail in his occupation. Mikhail has a small room which he uses as a barber shop. He cuts adults’ hair and his son cuts children’s hair. They work without days off until late in the evening. Thanks to their hard work they have many regular customers and thanks to the business they can support their family.

Mikhail is asking for a 210,000 AMD loan, which will allow him to buy a new mirror and couch for his barber shop's waiting room.
