Julie
Julie is married and has seven children. They live in a five room house in Ntangang, a quarter in Mankon Bamenda Mezam Division of the North West Region of Cameroon. Julie has faced challenges in life which include the death of her mother, theft and the death of her pigs, which caused a great loss to her business.

Julie will use this new loan to open a motor spare parts store in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon, where one of her children is based and will help at the store's counter. She is very positive that her business will succeed and that the community will benefit from the availability of spare parts at all times without going long distances in search of parts.

Any profits from Julie's business will be used to educate her children, to build her house and to cater for other family needs. Julie says she prefers a loan from GHAPE because of installment payments and training in business management given to her by GHAPE. The group members and the centre have been very supportive during centre meetings, which also gives her courage to carry out her activities.
