The breadwinner of a big family, Rorn is a 58-year-old mother of eight children. She has four dependent children and one of her children is in school and three others are working as motor taxi drivers and factory workers in Thailand. To provide for her family, Rorn has been a farmer for almost the past 15 years. This is her primary source of income but she also works as a tailor to provide additional income. Rorn's husband also helps to generate income by selling traditional herbs.
Rorn is requesting her fourth loan with VisionFund. She is requesting 2,000,000 KHR to hire farm labor to harvest her rice crop and to buy piglets to raise. She successfully repaid her previous loan that helped increase her crop yield provide savings to start her future pig-raising business. Rorn hopes to earn more profit and set aside some money to save for the future.
