Petros is 44 years old. He lives in the Geghamavan village, in the Sevan area of Armenia, with his wife and two sons. His wife is jobless, and his sons are attending school. Petros is qualified as a mechanic and driver, and for several years he worked at a machine building plant as a welder. Since 2004, he has been a contract military man.

In addition to his military service, Petros is engaged in farming. On his farm he breeds cows, calves, and sheep. He sells dairy products and meat to his neighbors and to re-sellers. Petros’s wife and elder son also provide for the family by helping him with the farm.

Petros has received three loans from Nor Horizon, and his repayments have never been delayed. He is currently asking for a 1,000,000 AMD loan, which will help him to buy two more cows for his farm and to buy fodder for his farm animals.
