Nazek is a 39-year-old Lebanese married woman. She’s living with her husband and four children, who are all attending school. She cooperates with her husband in order to satisfy the family's needs and be capable to live life as it should be.
Nazek has owned a clothing shop since 2007 and has gained a fair number of customers so far. As for her husband, he has been working as a painter for the past 11 years.
Today, she’s requesting to borrow a loan from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to purchase added clothes such as dresses, scarves, pants and many other items. She notes that this loan will certainly push her to get higher returns. In the future, she plans to open other branches as soon as possible.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
