Five of her children are already professionals and she only has one left in her care. Paulina's business is selling groceries in her store. She tells us that she started out with FINCA when they still gave out loans in dollars. She started off with a $50 loan. Thanks to the loans that she received, she was able to buy her own plot of land and educate her children who are now professionals. She also managed to build her house with her savings and open her grocery store. She is grateful to FINCA for the support that they gave her and for the ease of obtaining the loans. She is also grateful for the training which they provide which is helpful. Paulina even invited her daughter to join so that she will also do well. Paulina is now requesting a loan which she will invest in buying merchandise for her store. She will buy rice, sugar, firewood, beer, etrc. so that she can stock her small store.
