Salimata
Salimata was born around 1978 in Niena. She is the mother of six children and lives with her husband in Niena (third administrative region of the Republic of Mali). She has been practicing her commercial fish trade for over seven years. Her experience in this field has earned her a good reputation and she receives fish orders.

Five years ago she decided to work with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso to have the necessary resources to meet her customers’ demand. All her previous loans have been fully reimbursed.

This new loan will allow her to buy 10 baskets of smoked fish each month. She gets her supplies at the Mopti and Sevare markets, as well as in Sikasso. The sales are usually made with an advanced order to customers who are women and pay cash or on credit.

With this loan, she is planning to make a monthly profit of 35, 000 Francs CFA. This profit will enable her to pay her loan and to invest the rest in her activity. She plans on becoming a wholesaler with a good reputation to meet the demand of her ever increasing customers.

SALIMATA est née vers 1978 à NIENA, est mère de 6 enfants et vit chez son époux à Niena (troisième région administrative de la république du Mali).
Elle mène cette activité de commerciale de poissons depuis plus de 7 ans. Son expérience dans ce domaine, lui a valu une bonne réputation et reçoit des commandes de poissons. Ainsi pour avoir les ressources nécessaires afin de satisfaire ces clients, elle décida de collaborer avec l’Institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso, il ya 5 ans maintenant, tous les prêts antérieurs ont été correctement remboursés.
Ce nouveau prêt lui permettra d’acheter, 10 paniers de poissons fumé par mois.
Elle s’approvisionne dans les marchés de Mopti, Sevaré ainsi qu’à Sikasso. Les ventes sont généralement sur commande, à une clientèle composée de femmes, à crédit et au comptant.
Avec ce prêt, elle envisage réaliser un bénéfice mensuel moyen de 35 000 FCFA par mois. Ce bénéfice lui permettra de payer les intérêts de son prêt et investir le reste dans son activité.
Elle compte devenir un grossiste de bonne renommée à fin de satisfaire ses nombreux clients qui ne cessent de croître
