Since he was 10 years old, Armando knew he wanted to be a mechanic at his own shop. Watching his father work on cars influenced him to attend school in Chihuahua, Mexico to complete his education. For 13 years now, Armando has worked on and inspected cars in his El Paso shop, Auto C. Electric.
Armando will purchase a car lift and more tools with the money from an ACCION Texas loan. Auto C. Electric has been using a car jack in lieu of a lift. Through the ACCION Texas loan, he and the other two mechanics will complete work faster, he said, thus allowing him to grow his business.
