La Señora Teresa es socia del banco comunal Atenas, vive por un hermoso sector de la ciudad de Cuenca, esta ciudad que es reconocida como la "Atenas del Ecuador". Su centro histórico es el más grande y el mejor conservado del país, también es moderna y atractiva, goza de todos los conforts de la actualidad; su gastronomía local cautiva el paladar de propios y extraños. Su gente mantiene la cultura y tradiciones de sus pueblos.

La Señora. Teresa tiene 51 años, es viuda y en su unión conyugal ha concebido 4 hijos, dos son casados e independientes, un hijo está trabajando y le ayuda económicamente y su último hijo está estudiando en un colegio de la ciudad. No tienen casa propia por lo que vive arrendando.

Es socia del banco comunal hace 15 años y su nuevo crédito lo va a invertir en la compra de tela para la realización de guaipe.

Su sueño es tener un negocio como una cevicheria.
