Carlos Eduardo
Carlos is a young man at 21 years old, he lives in a city called Mala, which is located to the south of our country's capital. It is well known for its climate and for its main activity, which is agriculture.

It is also in a noteworthy geographic region, called "Los Plantanales", which was created years ago by very humid, salty ground. Here, water from the subsoil rises to the surface, due to the presence of groundwater not far below the surface, and has provided these lands with favourable conditions for growing fruit trees, such as banana trees and vines.

Carlos, like any good peruvian, really enjoys food, but his favourite dish is the exquisite "Sopa Seca", a typical Peruvian dish of spaghetti and chicken with a spicy sauce. Carlos is studying for his fifth year of secondary school, but, in his desire to continue studying, he has taken technical classes teaching how to repair cell phones.

Carlos works in his own business selling and repairing cell phones, he works around 14 hours a day and gets up very early to attend to his business and he can serve up to 18 customers per day. He believes that his business is going very well as it attracts good attention from customers and he delivers orders on time and sells good quality products.

Carlos is very grateful for the Kiva loan providers, as it is thanks to their support that he will be able to buy more merchandise and buy a machine for repairing cell phones. With these he will be able to have a better variety of products as well as having adequate equipments to carry out his work. In this way he will have improved income and will be able to continue saving to achieve his greatest dream: "To have branches of his business"
