Luz Fatima se ha caracterizado por ser una persona que siempre ha buscado una mejor calidad de vida para su familia. Luz Fatima vive con su esposo desde hace aproximadamente 13 años, y con el inicio el negocio de una tienda donde vende productos de confitería y cervezas.
Luz Fatima tuvo que atravesar muchas adversidades en su vida, lo cual ha hecho que quiera que su familia no tenga que pasar por las mismas.

El negocio que tiene ha tenido muy buenas ventas, por lo que Luz Fatima ha podido colaborar a su esposo en las obligaciones del hogar.
Debido a que no tiene mucho capital, su negocio no tiene mucho surtido, y sus clientes le han pedido productos que ella no tiene en su tienda, es por esto que ha visto como pierde clientes poco a poco. Con el ánimo de cambiar esta situación Luz Fatima quiere surtir su negocio, para lo que requiere comprar mercancía, sin embargo, no cuenta con el dinero suficiente para realizar estas compras por lo que tiene la esperanza en que un préstamo le brindará la oportunidad de acceder a la compra de productos de confitería y cervezas para surtir su tienda general, y de esta manera poder atender todas las necesidades de sus clientes.

Luz Fatima espera que con la compra de estos productos, sus clientes aumenten considerablemente, debido a que ya encontrarán más productos con los cuales satisfacer sus necesidades. Luz Fatima sueña con que ella y su esposo puedan tener una mejor calidad de vida y una estabilidad económica.

This loan is structured on Kiva as a bullet loan, which means a single payment is required at the end of the loan term. By Colombian law, Kiva's partner Interactuar is required to offer borrowers loans with a variable interest rate that fluctuates with the market rate. Because fixed monthly payments are applied first to interest and then to principal, Interactuar is unable to predict upfront what portion of each repayment would go towards the loan principal. This creates a challenge with Kiva's system, which doesn't allow for unpredictable principal payments, and can result in some Interactuar clients appearing falsely delinquent. To remedy this, the loan has an end-of-term repayment plan on Kiva, but the borrower will continue scheduled monthly repayments to Interactuar, who will then pass along the principal amount to Kiva lenders. This means that you may see repayments made on this loan throughout the repayment term, as opposed to receiving repayment in full at the end of the loan term.
