Yeisy es una persona que se esfuerza todos los días con el ánimo de salir adelante. Proviene de una familia que no le pudo brindar una gran estabilidad económica, por lo que ella quiere lograr brindársela a sus padres y tener igualmente una estabilidad con su esposo. Yeisy se dedica desde hace aproximadamente 2 años a la actividad de la confección, la cual aprendió gracias a trascendencia familiar, y desde entonces genera los ingresos trabajando en esta actividad. Tiene un contacto con una empresa de prendas de vestir, por lo que Yeisy les ofrece el servicio de confección.

Yeisy ha tenido muy buenos contratos con esta empresa, y ha hecho que su taller salga adelante, sin embargo, Yeisy quiere sacar su propia línea de ropa, para poder tener dos fuentes de ingresos. Es por esto que va a comprar telas e hilos para la confección de su ropa; sin embargo, no cuenta con el capital suficiente para realizar estas compras, por lo que tiene la esperanza en que un préstamo le brinde la posibilidad de acceder a la compra de telas e hilos para la producción de prendas de vestir.

Yeisy sueña con sacar su línea propia y que esta sea reconocida en diferentes regiones. Además, sueña con que ella y su esposo puedan tener una buena estabilidad económica y no tengan que sufrir tantas adversidades en su vida como le ha tocado a Yeisy.

This loan is structured on Kiva as a bullet loan, which means a single payment is required at the end of the loan term. By Colombian law, Kiva's partner Interactuar is required to offer borrowers loans with a variable interest rate that fluctuates with the market rate. Because fixed monthly payments are applied first to interest and then to principal, Interactuar is unable to predict upfront what portion of each repayment would go towards the loan principal. This creates a challenge with Kiva's system, which doesn't allow for unpredictable principal payments, and can result in some Interactuar clients appearing falsely delinquent. To remedy this, the loan has an end-of-term repayment plan on Kiva, but the borrower will continue scheduled monthly repayments to Interactuar, who will then pass along the principal amount to Kiva lenders. This means that you may see repayments made on this loan throughout the repayment term, as opposed to receiving repayment in full at the end of the loan term.
