Mohammad is a 51-year-old Lebanese married man who lives with his wife and two school-aged children. He really cares for his children’s future and tries his best to offer them a suitable one. He has been working as a taxi driver since 2006.
Today, he needs to borrow $2600 from Kiva Partner Ameen s.a.l to pay his children's school fees. He believes that education will help them achieve higher positions. In the future, he plans to take out more Kiva loans and cover their educational fees until graduation.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
