Fadi is a 36-year-old Lebanese married man. He lives with his wife and two school-aged children in addition to his parents. He’s taking on his own family responsibilities and does not hesitate to show help whenever needed. He had seven years of experience in selling electrical equipment, and then he decided to open his own electrical products shop in 2005.
Today, he’s asking for a loan of $2800 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to purchase the needed quantity of electrical products such as heaters, refrigerators and many other items in order to increase his sales and therefore his revenue. In the future, he plans to enlarge his shop by adding diverse items to it.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
