A loan of $300 helped to hire day laborers.

Justina's story

Justina, 33, is a hardworking woman who very much wants to get ahead and make progress. She is separated from the father of her children, but this does not discourage her. She lives with her four children, one daughter-in-law, and her grandson, all of whom she loves very much. Together they live in her own house.

The work Justina does is agriculture, specifically growing oil palm trees. She considers it a very profitable business for which she has a 20-hectare plot of land, six of which are in production. She has been doing this work for more than three years, and this is thanks to a regional government incentive that provided the seeds. She also has the support of her children, who helped her maintain the plots.

She likes this work because of the profits she earns. In this way she pays for the personnel she hires for the harvest as well as for her family expenses. Seeing the good results, she is planning to expand her business by building a fish farm or stables to raise pigs. In this way she will manage to generate more income for herself.

This will be her first loan with the MFP institution. She hopes for your collaboration so she can realize her plans.

With the requested loan of 800 PEN, she will invest in paying for staff for the oil palm tree harvest season.
