Chandy, 39, is married and resides with her husband and four children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, an area which is well known for its historical tourism sites (ancient temples: Angkor Wat, Bayon, Banteay Srey, etc). She has been selling vegetables for over two years and is successful in her career. Her husband helps her run the business. Her son is a tuk tuk taxi driver. In order to improve her family's livelihood, Chandy is requesting a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase a new motorbike for her son for hauling his tuk tuk trailer. By doing so, her son would easily run his business because he has a new motorbike and he can attract more customers. In the future, she would like to expand her business, rebuild her house and support her children to study until they get a Bachelor's degree.
