In addition, the members also raise farm animals.

Luis plants cacao bean, coffee, and oranges. He purchases his products in Mata de Cacao and sells in Chillanes at the Sunday market at the end of every month.

The loan requested is to purchase fertilizer, urea [a kind of fertilizer with nitrogen], and liquid fertilizers for planting corn and cacao bean. The loan has helped him increase his earnings for the family’s consumption and for investing. His dream is to have a good harvest so he can earn a better income.

In his free time, he enjoys playing sports and celebrating Carnaval.

La ventanilla TRABAJADORES AGRICOLAS se encuentra ubicada en el Recinto Matilde Esther perteneciente al cantón Chillanes, esta ventanilla son 11 socios y se dedica a labores agrícolas de ciclo corto siembre de maíz, cacao, naranja y plátano ya en esta zona es humedad y se dan estos productos, además se dedican a la crianza de animales de corral.

Luis se dedica a la agricultura a la siembra de cacao, café y naranja. Compra sus productos en Mata de Cacao cada fin de mes y los vende en la feria de los domingos en Chillanes.

El crédito solicito para la compra de abono, urea, líquidos fertilizantes para la siembra del maíz y cacao. El préstamo le ayudado para aumentar los ingresos para el consumo de la familia y para invertir. Su sueño es que la cosecha sea bueno para tener mayores ingresos.

Concurrent and Successive Loans

Our Field Partners often work with borrowers over a series of loans as the borrowers build credit, take out bigger loans, and expand their businesses. In order to make it easier for our Field Partners to post loans for borrowers who have been listed on Kiva before, we allow them to post successive and concurrent loans for their Kiva borrowers. This means that our Field Partners are able to post a borrower's second, third, etc., loan on Kiva without having to re-enter all of the borrower's information.

Because Field Partners can now post loans as successive and concurrent loans, you will be able to track borrower progress over time and see the various ways a borrower is working with our Field Partners through funds from Kiva’s lenders.
