Josefa
View original language description ↓
Mrs. Josefa is a single mother with nine children, three of whom live with her who are underage and still in school; they live in the Villa Reconciliación neighborhood. Four years ago, Josefa established her eatery where she offers lunches to people who work around the neighborhood. In the evenings, she goes out to the sidewalks to sell various fast foods, including gallo pinto, a traditional rice and beans dish, slices with cheese, tacos, grilled pork, enchiladas, grilled chicken, and more. Every day, Josefa and two of her children shop for food in the market so that they can make different dishes to sell to their customers, who sample them all. The business has earned a good number of customers who are satisfied by the delicious flavors of the food and the cleanliness with which she runs her business. Due to the high demand for her services, Josefa needs to buy a glass showcase where she can keep her food secure and also a 300 lb. gas tank so that she can cook more food in less time.
