Martha is a married woman with three children all of whom attend school. Her husband is a businessman who contributes to the provision of the family's basic needs. She lives in a rental house with electricity but no piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food for her family and school fees for her children.
Martha has operated a food stall for the past year; her potential clients are the local area residents. She faces a major challenge of customers not making their payments on time. She dreams of establishing a café.
With the KES 20,000 she wants to purchase more stocks of rice, beans, wheat flour and cooking oil for her business. She decided to join Yehu because of its fair terms and conditions.
