Coffee farming has been Gelesomu's occupation for the last decade. The 39-year-old father of three says that he finds this business very worthwhile because the earnings from his coffee sales have enabled him to send all of his kids to school. Furthermore, he says that he has been able to improve his family's standard of living. Because his wife has been at his beck and call, he has been able to make many in-roads in his business.
Gelesomu says that this business generates sales revenues to the tune of UGX 400,000 each month. He will use his loan to purchase more coffee seedlings to replant.
