Anastasia is a 55-year-old widow with 3 children, all of whom are working. She owns a house with neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for herself.
Anastasia has operated a cereals business for the past 4 years; her potential clients are her neighbors. She faces a major challenge of lacking a sufficient number of customers. She dreams of establishing a retail shop.
With the requested loan of KES 15,000, she wants to purchase more stocks of maize and cow peas for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access funds to expand her business.
