Vepkhvia is a 36-year-old farmer from the village of Abastumani, South Georgia. He lives in the village with his family: his wife, Shorena, two daughters (18 and 17 years old), his 13-year-old son and his parents (retired). The children go to school. The family agricultural business is the only source of income for the family: They have a dairy farm and produce cheese and yogurt, which are sold on the local market. Also, the family grows various vegetables, on a family-owned plot of land, which are also sold locally. The total average monthly income of the family is 1000 Laris, including the pensions of Vapkhvia’s parents.
Vepkhvia requested credit for purchasing a milk cow. They will produce and sell more dairy products. It will increase the income of the family, which will allow them to spend more on satisfying their needs and improve their living conditions.
