Hie is 50 years old, married and helps support her family by operating a beauty shop. She lives in Ho Chi Minh City with her children and husband, who works as a mason. She has been in her current line of work for 12 years and is applying for a loan to buy supplies and equipment for her shop, including shampoo, dyes and nail polish. Her goal for the future is to continue expanding her shop so that she can improve her family's living conditions.
