Wijdan, 59, is a mother with five sons and one daughter. Some of her sons are Palestinian National Authority employees with decent salaries but her husband is a blacksmith and his low income is not enough to cover the family's needs. Wijdan's husband wants to improve the quality of his work by purchasing new blacksmith tools. Therefore, Wijdan is requesting a loan of 3,000 USD from FATEN to help her husband cover the cost of these new tools. This will improve his work, increase sales and improve the family's income. Wijdan is a conservative woman, so her son Hisham is photographed instead.
