Heriberto, 22, is single and has a one-year-old son; he lives in Colonia Sandoval, an outlying area of San Pedro Sula with his parents and his brother.

Since a very young age, Heriberto learned welding from his father. Now he works as a welder independently. His welding shop was his father’s but due to health reasons it was passed down to Heriberto who has been running it for the last three years. He offers all welding services related to the construction of balconies, grilles, gates and any other metal and stainless steel work. He spends ten hours daily starting at 7am.

This is his first loan with Odef that he will use to buy a welding machine, a drill and welding supplies because demand at work has increased. With the purchase of this machine he will be able to offer his customers better and quicker service so that his business will generate good profits.
