The committee “Mujeres al Poder” consists of 16 members, all from a settlement of the city of Villa Elisa. This committee is long-standing and in spite of having some difficulties were always able to overcome, and today are very hardworking, active and responsible women.
One of these women is Gloria, who tell us that she has a small, well stocked pantry. Thanks to her business she is able to help her family and maintain the house. Day to day she begins work very early and finishes very late. She says that she likes her business very much, and she would like to some day expand it.
She is requesting a loan in order to buy drinks, groceries, canned goods, sugar, noodles and other basic necessities. She is thankful to the foundation and to kiva for the opportunity they are giving her and her group.

El Comité “Mujeres al Poder” cuenta con 16 integrantes todas de un asentamiento de la ciudad de Villa Elisa. Este comité es antiguo y a pesar de tener algunas dificultades siempre supieron salir adelante y hoy en día son mujeres muy trabajadora , activas y responsables.
Una de estas mujeres es la señora Gloria, quien nos cuenta que tiene una pequeña despensa bien surtida. Gracias a su negocio ella puede ayudar a su familia y mantener la casa. Día a día ella empieza a trabajar desde muy temprano y termina ya muy noche. Cuenta que le gusta mucho su negocio y le gustaría, algún día, poder ampliarlo.
Ella solicita el crédito para la compra bebidas, comestibles, enlatados, azúcar, fideos y demás artículos de primera necesidad. Agradece a la fundación y a kiva por la oportunidad que le dan a ella y a su grupo.
