Mr. Hiep is 39 years old and has two children. He is a tailor and is managing a tailor shop. His business started many years ago. His shop is always busy with customers. Joining our credit program in 2006, he used loans to buy a sewing machine and fabric. Currently, he wants to have a loan of 9,810,000 VND to buy fabric to meet the increasing demand of customers for the Tet holiday (Vietnamese new year).
The Center of Small Enterprise Development Assistance (SEDA) is a non-profit organization whose vision is to create “a society without poverty.” Founded in 2004, SEDA provides microfinance services to low-income and disadvantaged people in rural areas of Hanoi and the northern provinces of Vietnam through its Binh Minh Micro-Finance Program.
