Ms Binh is 42 years old with two children who are in secondary school and elementary school. Binh is a farmer. She grows rice and cherry blossoms to sell on Tet holiday. In addition, she raises chickens for meat. Taking part in our credit program since 2003, she has used loans effectively in expanding her business. Currently, she wants to have a loan of 9,810,000 Vietnam dong to buy food and fertilizer.
The Center of Small Enterprise Development Assistance (SEDA) is a non-profit organization whose vision is to create “a society without poverty.” Founded in 2004, SEDA provides microfinance services to low-income and disadvantaged people in rural areas of Hanoi and the northern provinces of Vietnam through its Binh Minh Micro-Finance Program.
