Prom lives in a working class region where many craftspeople make mats, baskets, etc. Presently, she is a basket weaver, earning about 2.5 USD a day. She enjoys her work and mentions that she is happy with it because it earns her money for her household and gives her time to do other things.
Prom and her husband would like to buy a motorbike to reduce her husband’s everyday commuting expenses by motor taxi. For this purpose, they would like to borrow some cash from gentle lenders who always help poor families. This loan of 600 USD, her first from HKL, will allow them to buy their motorbike. She also has great expectations of growing as a businesswoman and learning from other people’s experiences.
With the help of this loan, the couple hopes that their family will have a better life. They also would like to see their children grow up with greater knowledge and a good future. She is very thankful to all lenders who help her family.
