Waweru is 47 years old and married to Esther. They have five children. He makes bricks to sell, a business in which he has been involved for the last five years. Waweru earns a monthly income of 35,000 KES.
Waweru is requesting his first loan from Kiva partner KADET Ltd. He plans to use the 30,000 KES loan to purchase firewood to bake bricks and to pay wages. Waweru plans to open a shop for his wife with the anticipated profits from the business and to pay school fees.
His hopes and dreams are to become large scale brick seller and businessman.
