Félicien is a member of the Abakundamurimo/Mrm group. He is 30 years old and single. He looks after three people other than his children (his little brothers). He has six years of secondary school education.

Félicien is a tomato farmer. This is his second loan cycle with ACB. He is going to use his loan to buy chemical fertilizers.

His strategy for the growth of his business is to enlarge the quantity of his production. In the coming years, Félicien would like to become the biggest supplier of tomatoes in his region. With the profits, he plans to send his little brothers to school, and raise cows and pigs.

Félicien fait partie du groupe Abakundamurimo/Mrm. Il a 30 ans et il est célibataire. Il a 3 personnes dans son charge autre que ses enfants (ses petits frères). Son niveau d’éducation est de 6 ans de secondaire.

Félicien est agriculteur de tomates. C’est son deuxième cycle de prêt avec ACB. Il va utiliser son crédit afin d’acheter des engrais chimiques.

Sa stratégie pour la croissance de son business est d’agrandir la quantité de production. Dans les prochaines années, Félicien voudrait être le grand fournisseur des tomates dans sa région. Avec les profits, il prévoit de scolariser ses petits frères et faire l’élevage des vaches et cochons.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
