Taj El Din is a 32-year-old Lebanese married man living with one parent, his working wife and six school-aged children. He’s the one responsible for his family and doing the best he can to enrich their way of living.
Taj El Din decided to start his own home business in 1995, so he opened a cattle farm and is looking forward to further growing his business. Today, he’s requesting to borrow $1,100 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l. to purchase cattle and fodder in order to feed them. He notes that this will enhance his business and boost his productivity.
In the future, he plans to enlarge his business and purchase added cattle.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
