Nat, 34, is married and resides with her husband and four children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been growing rice for over 20 years, earning income US $1 per day. Her husband is a motor taxi driver, earning an income of US $3 per day. Each month, she has to spend on food US $30, utility US $5 and other expenses US $30. In order to reduce the reparation expense on her husband’s motorbike and to increase her income, Nat is requesting a loan of US $600 to buy a new motorbike for her husband to run a motor taxi. In the future, she would like to run a grocery shop and build a new house. Moreover, she wants to support her children to study in high level.
