Chantha, 25, is married and resides with her husband, her mother and three children in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. She is a distiller. Her husband is a rice farmer. Due to the small amount of agricultural yield that she gets every year, Chantha requests a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase more farmland to grow rice in order to get a high yield. In the future, she would like to run a grocery store at home to generate more income to support the family and send her children to a good school.
