Wilfredo
Wilfredo, 42, lives in the city of Ica, known as The Land of the Eternal Sun because you can always enjoy the sun in any season of the year. It is also known for its traditional dances and for the Huacachina Lagoon, known as The Oasis of America, and above all as a city whose residents are welcoming and generous as well as optimistic since they came out ahead in spite of the 2007 earthquake in which many lost their lives or were injured. Peru is well known also for the delicious food, and one of the dishes that Wilfredo likes very much is the delicious chicken and rice, which has rice combined with chicken, in pieces or stuffed, vegetables (corn kernels, diced carrot, green beans), and other spices.

Wilfredo works at his job as a locksmith, which consists of repairing door locks, repairing padlocks, and making keys. He works about 10 hours a day, which he does with great effort despite the intense heat in his city. He waits on around 10 customers a day and can earn up to 380 PEN, and 500 PEN in a very good day. He believes that his business is going well for him because he does a good job and above all he is hardworking in doing it. He also takes care of the customers in a pleasant way.

Wilfredo is very grateful for the support of the Kiva lenders because thanks to this help he will be able to buy more tools and materials to improve his locksmith shop to do his work. With this improvement he will have more materials and will do an even better job and have a better equipped shop. With this he will get more income so he will be able to continue saving and be able to realize his biggest dream, to have a service enterprise.

Wilfredo tiene 42 años de edad, vive en la ciudad de Ica, conocida como “ la tierra del sol Eterno”, ya que siempre se puede disfrutar del sol en cualquier época del año, asimismo también por sus danzas típicas y por la “Laguna de Huacachina” conocida como “el oasis de América” y sobre todo porque es una ciudad donde los pobladores son muy hospitalarios y generosos, además de ser optimistas ya que a pesar del terremoto sucedido en el año 2007 en el cual muchos pobladores perdieron la vida y quedaron damnificados, los pobladores salieron adelante. El Perú es muy conocido también por su deliciosa comida y uno de los platos que le gusta mucho a Wilfredo es el delicioso “Arroz con Pollo”, consiste en: arroz combinado con pollo, en presas o mechado, verduras (maíz desgranado, zanahoria en cubos, judías) y otras especias.

Wilfredo se dedica a su labor de cerrajero que consiste en reparar las cerraduras de puertas, reparación de candados, fabricación de llaves, él le dedica a su trabajo alrededor de 10 horas diarias en las cuales a pesar del intenso calor que hay en la ciudad el se desempeña com mucha fuerza, atiende alrededor de 10 clientes diariamente y puede ganar hasta S/.380 y en un día muy bueno puede ganar hasta S/. 500,
El cree que le va bien en su negocio debido a que realiza una buena labor y sobre todo que es empeñoso al hacerla, además de atender a los clientes de manera amable.

Wilfredo está muy agradecido con el apoyo de los prestatarios Kiva ya que gracias a este apoyo el podrá comprar más herramientas y materiales y mejorar su taller de cerrajeria para la realización de su trabajo, con esta mejora tendrá mas materiales y realizara aun mejor su trabajo y tener un taller mas equipado, con ello obtendrá mas ingresos para si poder seguir ahorrando y poder cumplir su gran sueño: “Tener una empresa de servicios”.
