Thoeurn, 56, is married and resides with her husband and three children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia.
She and her husband have been involved in agricultural business for over 20 years. They have extensive experience and are successful in their career.
She is involved in growing rice. Two of her children are garment workers. In order to improve her family's living condition, Thoeurn is requesting a loan of USD 900 to purchase a horse to pull the cart for carrying her crops and to purchase rice seeds and fertilizer for growing rice in the dry season.
In the future, she plans to build a fence around her house.
