Lydia is a married woman with two children, both of whom attend school. She owns a house that neither has electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
For the past two years, she has operated a clothes-selling business, selling from door-to-door to her neighbours and passersby. She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her business. She dreams of establishing a stall to sell clothes from in the future.
With the Kshs 80,000 she wants to purchase bales of clothes for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
