Mr. Lun, age 39, is a humble farmer who has spent most his life planting rice and vegetable crops in Baray district. His wife is in the same business as him and always assists him in planting the crops to generate income for the whole family. This couple has been blessed with four children. Two of his children are attending a local primary school. Lun intends to raise some piglets in his backyard in order to improve his family's standard of living.
At this time, for his second loan from Kiva, Lun is asking for 2,800,000 KHR to buy some piglets, pig feed, and a pumping machine for his crops. He hopes that he’ll be able to uplift his family out of poverty someday.
