Joshua Kioko is 30 years old and earns a living as a bodaboda (or motorcycle) operator in Mshomoroni, Mombasa. He is married and has been in this line of work for two years. He is doing well and is applying for his first loan, for 12,000 shillings, to buy a new motorcycle. He will use the additional income made possible by this loan to support his family. His goal for the future is to own a shop.
