Fatou fait du commerce dans la vente de pâte d'arachide et de l'huile de palme, elle maitrise bien son activité pour l'avoir pratiqué depuis longtemps.

Grâce à son nouveau crédit elle va acheter de la marchandise (pâte d'arachide et huile de palme)

Fatou va aider son mari dans la gestion de la famille en payant la scolarité d'un de ses enfants qui suit actuellement une formation professionnelle.
