Shireen is a conservative woman, so her husband is photographed next to the old stove he has in the stall.
Shireen. who is a 32-year-old young woman, is the mother of two sons and two daughters. Her husband is a Palestinian National Authority employee with a decent salary. He also has a food stall in order to improve his income. Shireen wants to help her husband by getting a $2,000 loan from FATEN to purchase new stoves to be used for cooking food and also to purchase bulk ingredients such as chick peas, flour, etc, since her husband's decent salary isn't enough to cover all these purchases.
When Shireen gets the loan, she will be able to help her husband to expand and improve his stall which has a large number of loyal customers who come daily to eat. This will improve the quality of food he makes and increase his sales which means an increase in his income which will enable Shireen to create better living conditions for her family.
