Jeanne is married to a man named Bertrand. The couple has two children, both of whom attend school and are in their care. Jeanne lives with her husband and children. In order to meet the needs of her family, Jeanne has been selling fabrics through the distribution system for five years. Jeanne stocks up at a market in Benin. In the goal of satisfying her clientele and increasing her revenues, Jeanne is seeking a third loan with ALIDé with the other members of the MAHUGNON group. The first two loans were properly repaid.

Le groupe MAHUGNON est composé de trois personnes qui sont des amies. C'est la troisième fois que ce groupe sollicite l'aide financier de ALIDé, afin d'élever le niveau de son activité. La représentante du groupe, du nom de Jeanne est celle qui a la main levée sur la photo. Jeanne est âgée de 29 ans et vit au Bénin. Jeanne a arrêté l’école au niveau primaire. Jeanne est mariée à un certain Bertrand. Le couple a deux enfants tous scolarisés dont un est à leur charge. Jeanne vit ensemble avec son mari et son enfant. Afin d'assurer les diverses charges de la famille, Jeanne vend depuis cinq ans, des tissus par le système de distribution. Jeanne s’approvisionne dans un marché du Bénin. Dans la quête de la satisfaction de sa clientèle et pour accroître son chiffre d’affaires et son revenu, Jeanne sollicite ensemble avec les autres membres du groupe MAHUGNON, un troisième crédit auprès de ALIDé. Les deux premiers prêts ont été bien remboursés.

About Alidé

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients. This is a Group Loan
