Regino is from Kinangay Sur, Clarin, Misamis Occidental. He is 48 years old. Regino is married and has six school-aged children.
To make a living, he owns and operates a retail store, primarily selling a variety of home-use products to the local community. Regino has been in his business for 5 years and earns 15,000 PHP a month from these activities.
In 2004, Regino joined GDMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve his living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Regino is requesting a new loan of 50,000 PHP which will be used to purchase additional products to sell. He plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of his family.

Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
